Shin Yang Shipping Corporation Berhad (“SYSCorp”) is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia and part of Shin Yang Group of Companies. We are involved in the provision of International, Regional & Domestic shipping business and we are also one of the Leading Shipbuilder in Malaysia. Our International Shipping was accredited with “International Safety Management” (ISM) code by Surveyor General of Ships, Government of Malaysia. We are also the most prestigious Middle East shipping company’s award in the Gulf for Tug and Barge division by DNV, UAE in 2007 & 2008. Due to the rapid growth and business expansion, we are in search of dynamic and goal oriented candidates to apply for the following positions.

1. ACCOUNTANTS

Requirements

• Possess professional qualifications either ACCA, CIMA, MIA or its equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in a shipping and shipbuilding environment

• Self-motivated with good analytical skills and problem solving abilities

• Knowledge in taxation requirements

• Audit experience will be an added advantage

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

2. ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVES / ASSISTANTS

Requirements

• Diploma in Account or finalist of ACCA / CIMA with relevant working experience.

• Holder of LCCI Higher book-keeping, CAT or its equivalent

• Fresh graduates majoring in Accounting are encourage to apply

• Preferably with knowledge in computer

• 1 to 2 years related working experience is preferred

• Must be dedicated, hardworking and able to work with minimum supervision

3. ACCOUNTS CLERKS

Requirements

• Minimum SPM/STPM/LCCI Certificates

• Preferably with related working experience and knowledge in book-keeping

• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English, computer literate

4. INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a professional qualification or degree in Finance / Accounting or its equivalent. Those with Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification will have an added advantage

• At least 3-5 years of audit experience in internal or external audit

• Those with experience in business process and control are preferred

• Candidate should have sound business knowledge, good analytical skills, high standards of ethics and able to work independently

5. INTERNAL AUDIT ASSISTANTS /EXECUTIVES

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, LCCI or equivalent

• Must possess good analytical skills, self motivated and able to work independently

• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English

• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules

• Must be willing to travel

6. CORPORATE SECREARIAL EXECUTIVE

Requirements

• Possess Professional qualification either ICSA, CIMA or its equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years working experiences preferably in Shipping and Shipbuilding environments.

• Able to work independently with dedication and highly committed to multi-tasking

• Able to communicate and liaise with various level of people

• Preferably with working experience in public listed company environment
